Of Letters and Words

letters are like scalars

with magnitude

but no direction

like lose men and women

they cluster about

lost in an imaginary world

unable to connect

free to roam endlessly

without a care

free to romance the next available letter.

they are like a corn seed

lonely; a one man army

we as men

are like little God's

we are like the priest

a reverend

an ordained pastor

as we marry letters together

to form words

and words to form sentences

we started a mini war

the war of words

caused by the discovery of letters
